pytc.vmc.sampling¶

Sampling procedures for VMC simulation.

This module contains functions for burn-in procedures and main sampling loops, including both standard MCMC and importance sampling variants.

Functions

`adaptive_burn_in`	Burn in until the ensemble's E_L/Var estimates stabilize, instead of a fixed step count (a count tuned for one system size under-provisions a larger one, since equilibration time grows with system size).
`burn_in`	Perform burn-in steps for MCMC sampling.
`burn_in_with_importance`	Perform burn-in steps for MCMC sampling with importance sampling.
`sample`	Perform MCMC sampling for quantum wavefunction.
